Alerts
As you are searching and shopping on the Web, assistant will stay in the background looking to see if it has an offer that is relevant to you and what you’re currently looking for. When it identifies one or more relevant offers it will signal you with a small Alert that appears for a short while in the lower right corner of your screen. You can choose to view the offers at that moment or view the offers later, as they will be safely stored in a Current Offers folder in your assistant.
My ePostcards
Current Offers
By default, assistant will open with your Current Offers active in My ePostcards. These will be listed in date order with the most recent on top. You can change the order by clicking on one of the column headings if, for example, you want to group different offers from the same merchant or sponsor together. Offers will stay in your folders until the expiry date determined by the merchant or sponsor, or until you delete them.
ePostcards
ePostcards sit at the heart of assistant, providing you with personalized, relevant offers for great deals – with Reward Points as the big bonus.
There are two buttons at the bottom of the assistant Browser that are active in the ePostcard view. To learn more about an offer, click the “Yes, Show me More!” button and you will be taken to the appropriate place in the sponsoring merchant’s web site. Some offers are coupons usable off-line at a neighborhood restaurant or store. To print these use the “Print” button.
Saved Offers
Remember, unless specifically stated within a particular ePostcard, you can use an offer multiple times –the exclusions tend to be printable coupons for off-line purchases. So that offers that you have an interest in retaining for future use, you can move to your Saved Offers folders. We have created a basic set of 3 folders as your starter kit. You can change the names of these, add more or remove folders to reduce the number that you have.
Edit Menu (and Right Mouse Button) Selection
The Edit option in the menu gives you complete and easy control over your ePostcards. You can move them to and between your Saved Folders; print and delete them; mark them as read or unread; and search within them for a particular offer or merchant.
Earning Your Reward Points
Be sure to securely and safely register any credit card you might use for your purchases and allow your PC to accept session cookies. To receive points for your purchases made through ePostcard offers remember that there are two requirements:

You must shop with a registered credit card; and

You must have your computer set to receive session cookies so your purchase can be confirmed and matched to your assistant user id.
You should be aware that due to delays in obtaining information from merchants, it may take up to 45 days from time of purchase before you see the Reward Points reflected in your account.
