My Profile (Tools Menu or Home: My Life)
Your profile information enables assistant to be more selective in terms of the offers that are presented to you, ensuring an increasing level of relevance to you and what you’re interested in. Your personal profile information is NEVER shared with anyone – not the assistant staff and certainly none of our partners or merchants. It is used dynamically to determine the relevance of a promotion to you and your household. There is a minimum of information – contained in the Contact Information page – that we need to be able to validate that you exist (we use the email address for that), to mail you reward certificates (your address) and to deliver neighborhood merchant offers (the reason for your gender and zip code).
The Household Profile page enables you to personalize offers to a much greater extent, based upon who else is in your household, your marital status, income level and ethnicity. You should only enter into assistant what you feel comfortable entering. IT CANNOT BE VIEWED IN ANY FORM IDENTIFIABLE TO YOU BY ANYONE INVOLVED IN THE ASSISTANT SERVICE. As with any other financial or personal information held on your computer, you should ensure that you maintain appropriate controls on who can access the information if they have use of the computer.
Credit Cards
In order to obtain Reward Point credit for your on-line and off-line purchases made through assistant, you must register at least 1 credit card and you may store up to 5 credit card numbers in your assistant. Your credit card information is totally secure as assistant does not require you to enter any other card details that are required to make charges on the card, such as expiry date or Card Verification Number. Credit Card information is only used to monitor purchases made through assistant.
Wish List (Menu or Home: My Life)
You can store keywords for items or topics that interest you in your Wish List. assistant will search for offers that match your Wish List immediately after you enter them and then automatically every time you go on the web. This is a way to keep a watch on items you’re looking to buy as gifts in the future – find the best offers over time – or items that are hard to find – when they appear on offer you’ll know immediately.
Refer a Friend (Home: My Life)
If you’re pleased with the offers you’ve received through assistant and the rewards you’re earning, tell your friends. For each of your friends that download and activate assistant we’ll give you 250 reward points. It’s very simple: enter their email addresses into the form provided and we’ll do the rest.
